Postgraduate degrees
The University offers a number of postgraduate courses for those who want to specialise in a particular area. These long postgraduate courses may also be suitable for those who, for various reasons (personal or professional), are unable to commit themselves to a full-time MA, or who want to follow specific curricula. The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) and the qualifications it awards (such as the current SUPSI MAS-DAS-CAS) are recognised by the Swiss Confederation under the federal law relating to Professional University Schools of 6 October 1995 and subsequent revisions. Programme 2012/2013 Application form MAS (Master of Advanced Studies): a course of study entailing a workload equivalent to at least 60 ECTS, and whose duration is generally four semesters.
DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies): a course of study entailing a workload equivalent to at least 30 ECTS. CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies): a course of study entailing a workload equivalent to at least 10 ECTS, generally in two semesters. |
