Wind Orchestra Conducting


The Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Wind Orchestra Conducting is aimed at musicians who already have a degree in music, who want to further explore aspects relating to wind orchestra conducting and integrate their training through relevant analytical tools and knowledge of repertoire and orchestration for wind ensemble. 

Admission criteria

  • Possession of a musical qualification (Bachelor, Master or equivalent)
  • Mastering an instrument at an advanced level
  • Passing an admission examination consisting of a listening test (chords, intervals), and “find the error” (finding mistakes in a multi-voice excerpt played on the piano)
  • Passing an aptitude interview 


The duration is 2 years (4 semesters)

Total university credits 60 ECTS.
